Sourcing Engine
The Sourcing Engine works for procurement teams. It finds, verifies, and qualifies manufacturers worldwide, cleans up the spec before suppliers see it, and runs a structured bid, so the offers you compare are real, complete, and comparable.
The Problem
If you run procurement for a serious industrial project, the hardest part is rarely the decision. It is getting real, comparable offers from suppliers worth deciding between.
Global OEMs and specialist manufacturers are hard to access and harder to qualify from a distance. Bids arrive non-conforming, or priced for the risk of an unknown buyer.
An RFQ written without supplier input carries technical gaps. Every gap becomes a round of clarification questions, and every round costs weeks.
Most procurement teams have signed a supplier-friendly contract at least once and paid for it in delays, change orders, or warranty fights.
How It Works
A draft document is great, a clear description of the need is enough. We review the spec first and help close the technical gaps before any supplier sees it.
Output A spec suppliers can actually quote.
Systematic discovery across every viable origin: manufacturers, not middlemen. Every counterparty is verified against its own website, official trade and export records, or association rosters. Marketplace listings and unverifiable brokers are excluded by rule.
Output The full universe, verified.
Qualified suppliers quote against the same spec under the same process. Offers are normalized line by line so a comparison actually compares.
Output Quotes you can put side by side.
You get a scored shortlist with the reasoning attached, and support through clarifications and negotiation. The award decision stays yours.
Output A defensible award decision.

The Model
Submitting an RFQ costs you nothing. Our team reviews every submission and proposes the engagement model that fits the project: in most cases the winning supplier pays a success fee, some tenders carry a small technical consultancy fee to formalize the contract, and some run on a fixed advisory fee with no success fee at all. Whatever the structure, three rules hold:
Any success fee is the same for every supplier in the bid, so the fee can never tilt the shortlist toward anyone.
Offers are scored against criteria you see up front, and the scoring comes with written reasoning.
Our advisory duty in the process is to you. Suppliers pay on success; they do not buy influence.
Track Record
For a construction company, the engine sourced a bundled fleet of off-highway vehicles: OEMs and authorized dealers mapped across origins, verified, and brought into one structured quote so the bundle can be compared and awarded as a package.
For a pharmaceutical trader, the engine mapped refiners and blenders of petrochemical lubricants, verified every counterparty, and structured comparable offers for a recurring supply program.
Full sourcing mandate on a greenfield production-line tender: spec cleanup, global supplier engagement at decision-maker level, and structured competitive bidding. The spec review caught a capacity error before it reached suppliers, and the tender went to award with qualified bidders in genuine competition.
For a 5,000-tonne commodity trial, the engine compiled and verified a global supply base of roughly 90 counterparties across every viable origin within days, every one confirmed against its own website, official trade records, or association rosters.
